Personal site

Everything here is published in a personal capacity. The content and tools are not provided on behalf of, affiliated with or endorsed by any employer, client or other organization.

Tools and calculations

Some pages offer calculators, converters and other tools. They are provided for convenience and general reference only. Results may contain errors, depend on the inputs you give them and are not a substitute for professional judgment. Verify anything you rely on against primary sources, governing standards and your own analysis before using it for design, testing, safety-related or commercial decisions.

No warranty

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. I don't guarantee that the site will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its tools, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Acceptable use

Please don't attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, scrape it in a way that degrades service, or use it for anything unlawful.

Unless noted otherwise, original content on this site is © Gerrit Lane. Some tools include third-party open-source components, which remain subject to their own licenses; those notices are kept with the tools that use them. You're welcome to link to any page here.

Links to other sites

Links to outside websites are provided for convenience. I don't control those sites and am not responsible for their content or practices.
